Thank you for your support. We have seen an amazing outpouring of community support for Gateway students during the COVID-19 pandemic. We wanted to express our appreciation for your support of students who are committed to expanding God’s kingdom around the world. Faithful partners like you make ministry training possible for the next generation of pastors and missionaries.
Here are some stories from students who have received assistance:
Receiving a scholarship from Gateway Seminary has relieved the financial burden in furthering my ministry training. As a part of a church planting team, funds were limited for me to receive further training in biblical studies and theology. Scholarship funds have allowed me to continue to practice my education in my current ministry setting unencumbered by weighty fiscal anxieties.

Classes at Gateway expect you to be actively involved in church ministry while maintaining high academic standards. This is difficult to do if you are constantly worrying about how you are going to make ends meet. The financial aid I received helped me not only survive but allowed me to thrive. The “academic” enforced the “practical” and allowed for a truly foundational seminary experience.

On my way to ministering to Japanese exchange students at Glendale Community College, I was hit by a semi-truck on the freeway. The accident completely totaled my car and I was left with an injury on my left wrist and neck. Your gracious funds not only contributed to my recovery but has also allowed me to continue my studies at Gateway Seminary where I am studying education leadership for women's ministry.

Gateway Seminary continues to be faithful to its students who are devoted to their ministry calling by providing financial assistance. The $600 aid I received from the Student Benevolence Fund campaign assisted my family by covering an unforeseen expense caused by a minor car accident during our move from San Francisco to Ontario. Additionally, as a father of three, I have consistently received scholarship funds that allow me to provide for my family. We are currently serving at a local church in Bakersfield and we are beyond grateful for God's arm of provision in the midst of our challenges.

Thank you so much for giving to Gateway Seminary! Because of your generosity, I am able to take classes in Christian Counseling that are not just helping me for future ministry opportunities but in my current setting as well. Studying at Gateway Seminary has helped me develop my own knowledge and understanding of Christ with others who have the same mission in life to share about the Good News.

As young newly-weds from the south, moving to an expensive state like California for Seminary was a step of faith. I receive no outside financial help - making the scholarship aid I received from Gateway a tremendous blessing. I am currently serving at Heart of the Canyons Church in Santa Clarita, CA. With the financial help from Gateway, my aspirations in being a youth and college pastor, and a professor are within my grasp. I am grateful for Gateway's generosity!
