We are a graduate theological school of the Southern Baptist Convention. We are accredited by the Association of Theological Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Gateway Seminary of the SBC is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of The Association of Theological Schools and is approved to offer the following degrees: Master of Divinity, Master of Theological Studies, Master of Biblical and Theological Studies, Master of Theological Essentials, Master of Global Engagement, Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies, Master of Biblical Counseling, Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, Master of Theology, Doctor of Ministry, and Doctor of Philosophy.

Financial Transparency
Gateway Seminary of the Southern Baptist Seminary is grateful for the investment made by Southern Baptists in the seminary and its students through generous contributions to the Cooperative Program.
Gateway Seminary is primarily accountable to the Board of Trustees, who are elected by Southern Baptists to oversee the seminary’s governance. The Board of Trustees undergoes orientation and training to understand the seminary’s mission, financial condition, and their fiduciary responsibilities in light of the ministry assignments from the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). They have full access to any information they wish to see or inquire about beyond what is discussed at board meetings.
While the Board of Trustees has oversight and responsibility, Gateway Seminary also believes that transparency and accountability are essential. A significant amount of information is available in existing resources such as the Annual Ministry Reports, the Annual Meeting Book of Reports, the SBC Annual, and our own publications.
