From the beaches to the mountains, and from Los Angeles to Orlando, you can be part of a hands-on educational experience designed to prepare you to expand God's kingdom around the world.

California
Take a break from the busyness of everyday life and ministry for a time of reflection, prayer, and discipleship in Big Bear, California, for Spiritual Formation with Rich Johnstone. Spiritual Formation is an important part of the Theological Field Education system at Gateway Seminary and will give you tools to not only help you thrive in ministry but to help those you lead as well.
Learn the principles of sharing your faith in Basic Evangelism in Los Angeles during the World Cup! Join Anthony Ferguson in the city to practice spreading the gospel among multitudes who will be traveling from around the world to watch the World Cup in LA this summer.
Join Gateway professor and SoCal aficionado Joe Kim in a tour of Los Angeles and the Beach Cities for Intercultural Communication. Dr. Kim is also a bit of a foodie, so expect to taste your way through the densely diverse LA Area as you learn about the cultures that make up the city.
Arizona
One of the most popular classes offered during summer is the Doctrine of Creation offered in the Grand Canyon! Take part in hiking through one of the most unique American locales with Paul Smith as you grow to appreciate the beauty, challenge, and design of God's creation.
Florida
This summer, the Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting is occurring in Orlando, Florida. Take SBC Polity and Practices for an in-person deep dive into how decisions are made that guide the direction of the SBC.
