Rocky Mountain Campus Giving Day

Thank you for your interest in helping us spread the word about Giving Day at the Rocky Mountain Campus!

What does it take to be an Advocate?

Advocates help us raise money by sharing information about this fundraiser through social media, email and texting.

We need advocates to do four things!

COMMIT: Set aside time on the Rocky Mountain Campus Giving Day, October 4, 2019, to connect in person, by email, phone or social media with fellow alumni or friends and encourage them to support the Rocky Mountain Campus. Our goal is 50 donors in one day – we will need everyone’s support to make our Giving Day a success!

CONNECT: Create a list of fellow alumni, friends, students, or churches who you wish to connect with on Gateway’s Giving Day. Work with the Seminary’s Advancement team and fellow advocates to prepare your message and to ensure everyone within your sphere of influence is asked to participate in our Giving Day. Spreading the word is easy and fun!

PLAN: Think about how much you would like to give to support Gateway Seminary on this Giving Day. We ask you to give at a level you are proud of and to share your donation via social media or emails with your community. Perhaps there is a specific message you want to convey to your peers, urging them to join in #Give2Gateway. You can prepare those personal emails, videos, text messages, etc. in advance!

PREPARE: Once you commit to being an advocate for the Rocky Mountain Campus Giving Day, Gateway’s Advancement team will send you the “Volunteer Training Presentation” video and a PDF file of helpful steps and resources you will need as an advocate. Please watch the training video, read the pages provided and email any questions you may have to  by October 2, 2019.
