James Turner, pastor of Eastvale Bible Church, spoke on the importance of not losing heart while waiting for the harvest. "We have to live with heart. We have to keep going, even when the results are slow. But the greatest example of endurance for us, it is not the person around the corner. It's not your pastor. May not be your great professor. Our ultimate example is Jesus. Hebrews 12:3 says, "Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." We need to look to HIM that we might be in courage. So look at Jesus. He was rejected but He didn't lose heart. He was betrayed but He didn't lose heart. He was falsely accused but He did not lose heart. He was beaten but He didn't lose heart. They nailed Him to the cross and even then He did not lose heart. Because Jesus understood harvest. He understood what it meant to sow seed and make sure to wait on the harvest. He was sown in death and three days later the harvest came in the resurrection."
