Summary:

Gary Hollingsworth, interim president of the ERLC gave a message on the "watchman" of Ezekiel 3. "If our hearts fail to be broken over the lost condition of those around us, whether they agree with our views or not, then we may have failed as a minister of the gospel. First and foremost. They are not our enemies. We have an enemy. We have a spiritual enemy. The book of Ephesians is very clear. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities and high places. Oh yes, we have enemies, but people today with whom we may disagree-I pray first and foremost that our hearts are broken. And I thought that as I stood on the steps of the Supreme Court while I was hearing all of the vile invectives that were not very far away from us...and I began to whisper a prayer, not that they're wrong and I'm right, or I want to win and maybe they'll lose. My prayer was "Oh God, those people are lost and apart from Christ." I was provoked first in my spirit for what I was experiencing."
