Gateway Seminary has hired Pamela Goytia as vice president of business services, effective August 4, 2025.

August 8, 2025 (Ontario, Calif.) -- Gateway Seminary has hired Pamela Goytia as vice president of business services, effective August 4, 2025.

“Pam has extensive experience in education ministry overseeing accounting and finance, facilities, and technology. She is wholeheartedly committed to the Baptist Faith and Message and to our mission of shaping leaders who expand God’s kingdom around the world,” said Gateway Seminary President Adam Groza.

“We are thankful that the Lord has brought her to Gateway.”

Goytia served as executive director at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and Academy in La Puente, Calif., for more than 12 years. Her responsibilities at St. Stephen included budget development, modernizing accounting systems, IT solution deployment, and the implementation of international education programs. Additionally, she has worked as an independent real estate consultant and as a program specialist with San Bernardino County.

“We are excited to welcome Pamela Goytia to the Gateway family,” said Kevin Carrothers, chairman of Gateway’s board of trustees.

“She brings a passion for Jesus Christ and the business acumen needed for this role and her experience embodies Gateway’s mission.”

Goytia earned a master of public administration from California Baptist University and bachelor of science in human development at Hope International University.

“It is a profound privilege and honor to serve as Gateway Seminary’s vice president for business services,” said Goytia.

“I firmly believe the purpose to which God has called me is to serve His people as we open more opportunities for students to share the Gospel worldwide.

Goytia has been a member of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church for 12 years; she has been involved with both sports and missions-based ministries at the church. St. Stephen has been a long-standing partner church with Gateway Seminary through their pastor and Gateway alumnus, Anthony Dockery.

Goytia joins Gateway’s cabinet alongside vice president of academic services Alex Stewart, vice president of enrollment and student services Kristen Ferguson, and vice president of advancement services Jeff Jones. Tom Hixson, who previously served as vice president of business services at Gateway and most recently returned as interim, will end his service this fall.
