| Supervisory Responsibilities | Manages subordinate employees in the Enrollment Department and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Seminary's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. |

| Qualifications | To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education and/or Experience: Have obtained or be in the process of achieving a seminary degree; masters or doctoral (Gateway Seminary alumni preferred). Pastoral or collegiate ministry experience preferred. Gifted and experience in preaching or speaking to Southern Baptist churches preferred. Language Skills: English Required. Possess excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and articulate the programs and objectives of the institution. Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, constituents, and the general public. Ability to lead and influence people or groups of people toward the achievement of goals. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Time Management Ability: Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to effectively plan a full-year ahead for effective campaigns. Discretion and Decision Making: Influences approaches and policies in seminary promotional matters in concert with supervisor and Vice President. Able to self-motivate and self-govern high standards of work and performance in a travel-heavy environment. Exercises independent judgment in core duties and in the supervision of staff/volunteers under his/her responsibility. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: Proficient with personal computer skills; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience using a SIS and/or a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or similar software. Other Skills and Abilities: Possess certification and qualification to serve as a designated international student advisor. Knowledgeable of ATS, SACS, WES, and TOEFL. Must be available for travel 5-10% of the time. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions.
