Our campuses are near major urban areas of the western United States, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver and Portland. In addition, many of the Seminary’s academic programs are offered online.
At Gateway Seminary, you can access tuition assistance in a variety of ways:
Cooperative Program
The Cooperative Program assists students from Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) churches by helping pay for coursework, significantly lowering the cost of theological education.
Scholarships
From special scholarships for church planters and returning Journeymen, to endowed gifts and named scholarships, we strive to make theological education affordable and accessible.

Spouse Discount
Spouses of full-time master’s or diploma-level students who are also enrolled full-time receive a 50 percent tuition discount.
Deferment Plans
Students in good academic and financial standing can spread out their tuition payments throughout the semester. Contact our Business Office for more information.
Affordable Student Housing
Housing is available at the Los Angeles Campus for single students, married couples, and families. Regional campuses also may be able to assist with reasonably priced options.
