Trinity Baptist Church in Renton, WA is a biblical church located in the southeast suburbs of Seattle, WA. We are a multi-generational congregation of about 80 weekly attenders and 50 weekly online participants. We value God-focused worship, expository preaching, and family values while being in proximity to one of the most secular and unreached cities in the nation.

We have and are actively loving the people God has placed in our community. We are especially invested in children through Sunday School, a thriving AWANA program, and a multi-city Vacation Bible Adventure (VBA) outreach.

Requirements
• Have a Spirit-led and prayerful lifestyle
• Education - College required, seminary preferred
• Ministry Experience - Minimum 3-7 years pastoral experience
• Elder Qualified - 1 Timothy 3:1-7 & Titus 1:5-9
• Agreement with TBC governance, vision, and the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
• Experience with Southern Baptist Churches preferred
• Joy filled

Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Lead Pastor will include:
• Expository preaching and practical application of God’s Word.
• Spiritually shepherding and protecting the congregation.
• Maturing the church in relational discipleship and prayer.
• Developing on-mission Christians.
• Collaboratively leading the church with the Council of Elders (“a leader among equals”).
• Leading and empowering the church staff.
• Engaging in pastoral care along with other ministry leaders.
• Leading his family well and modeling a healthy family/ministry/rest balance.
