Salary/Range: The church will provide one year of compensation (reasonable to local context) to support a candidate (and his family, if applicable).

The BCI Iowa Pastoral Residency will place qualified candidates as paid pastoral residents in approved BCI churches to receive one year of mentorship from the lead pastor.
Objectives:
•Provide residents with experienced mentors to aid in transitioning successfully from seminary to local church ministry.
•Provide churches and pastors an opportunity to multiply through mentorship.
•Provide the BCI quality candidates to pastor BCI-affiliated churches.
•Provide SBC seminaries an avenue for successfully sending graduates into the field.
