Tacoma First Baptist Church (TFBC), located in Washington State, was established on November 2, 1975, when believers who had accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord gathered together in obedience to His commandments, received baptism, and united with the body of Christ. For the past 50 years, TFBC has faithfully shared the gospel and served the local community under God’s grace. It is currently a member church of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) in the United States, actively collaborating with and supporting the convention’s mission and ministries.

Position: Children’s Minister
TFBC is currently seeking a part-time or full-time, English-speaking Children’s Minister to shepherd and teach children from birth through sixth grade. Our children come from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including first-generation Korean families, American servicemen with Korean spouses, Korean-American second-generation families, and multiethnic households.

Required Qualifications:
· A clear calling to children’s ministry
· Completion of Bible college or current enrollment in/seminary graduate
· Minimum of 1 year of children’s ministry experience
· U.S. permanent resident or U.S. citizen (preferred, but not required)
· Southern Baptist background and college/seminary education (preferred, but not required)
· Korean-English bilingual preferred
