Samaritans Purse is looking for Seasonal Dock Workers who are passionate about the proclamation of the gospel to join our Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Processing Center Team!

A Day in the Life of an OCC Dock Worker

At Samaritans Purse, the gospel is the center of all that we do! Serve with the ministry of Samaritan's Purse as an OCC Shipping/Receiving Materials Handler, and you will have the opportunity to:

Work side by side with employees and volunteers to take the love of Jesus to children all around the world
Play an integral part in the processing of over 10 million shoebox gifts
Facilitate the scanning, movement, and quality assurance of warehouse materials
This is a full-time (40+ hours per week including Saturdays), seasonal commitment that runs from mid-November through mid-December. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have a heart to serve in a hands-on ministry. Screening requirements include a social media review, pastoral and professional references, and a criminal background check (upon acceptance of offer).

Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour

Desired Skills:

Able to repetitively lift and/or move 50 lbs.
Must be a team player
Barcode scanning, inventory, and pallet jack experience preferred
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes preferred
We are hiring for the following roles:

DOCK TEAM MEMBER:

Repetitively lift cartons of shoebox gifts to load and unload shipment containers. Maintain the steady flow of processing lines by assisting with the stocking and palletizing of cartons and moving pallets with a pallet jack.

Hours: 1st Shift 7:45am - 3:45pm; 2nd Shift 2:45pm - 10:30pm
