We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic full-time Children and Youth Pastor
for our mid-size Southern Baptist church in Hagerstown, Maryland. Our church averages 240
attendees in Sunday morning blended worship services.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive oversight of the children and youth ministry, including planning and leading engaging activities,teaching, discipling, mentoring, recruiting and developing volunteers and leaders, as well as planning and leading all ministry events, activities, outings, and trips. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to
work and connect with children, youth, and their families while possessing strong administrative skills to independently manage all aspects of the ministry effectively.
Preferred Attributes: In addition to the above qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a ministry-related bachelor's degree and have at least two years of demonstrated experience in children's and/or youth ministry.
Doctrinal Requirement: The candidate must affirm the doctrinal views outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
