Mountain View Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Pastor to lead our multigenerational church. The Senior Pastor will be responsible for shepherding and leading our church body, preaching Bible-based sermons, casting vision in fulfillment of the church’s mission, and developing discipleship strategies that cultivate spiritual growth and outreach.


Role of the Senior Pastor:

The Pastor serves many roles, including that of Shepherd and Teacher. In addition, the Pastor serves as Chief Administrative Officer of the church under the authority of the congregation and in consultation with other designated leadership and appropriate committees. The Senior Pastor's primary role is to faithfully preach God's Word, supervise and hire ministerial and support staff, and to care for the members of MVBC.

Education & Experience:

Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
Masters Level required, Doctorate degree or actively working toward that degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years as Senior Pastor of a Southern Baptist Church experiencing worship attendance above 300

Salary and Package:

- $115,000 Beginning Salary (negotiable based upon education and experience)
- Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance
- 10% retirement contribution
- Paid holiday, vacation, and sick days based upon Personnel Policy
