Oversee and lead the Wednesday evening children’s ministry -Recruit and develop the teachers for this ministry with prayerful consideration -Effectively communicate with the parents and church about this ministry -Organize special events to promote this ministry
-Choose and administer the appropriate curriculum -Build a culture of engagement, discipleship, and missions -Resolve conflicts that may arise with the children and/or their parents
• Oversee the children’s ministries that take place on Sunday morning -Coordinate the staffing of the nursery for the Sunday School ministry, the
morning worship service and Wednesday evening -Oversee that the nursery is a safe place for our children (clean, appropriate toys and workers). -Organize the Children’s Church Ministry by developing a rotation of equipped workers and ordering them the necessary curriculum
• Lead and organize an annual kid’s outreach
• Develop, initiate and maintain a Sunday School Ministry -Provide initial and ongoing training for all teachers -Equip workers with relevant safety training -Maintain the established screening process (questionnaire, background checks and interviews) -Maintain the Children’s Ministry Tab on MBC’s website -Promote the entire MBC Children’s Ministry to our community -Establish regular office hours (12 office hours a week)
