• Starting Pay: $2,500/month
• Weekly: 15-20 hours per week (starting)
• Mandatory Hours
Sundays: 8am - 1pm
Wednesdays: 5pm- 8pm

Living Water Church of Cloverdale(LWC) has served the community since 1951. We are a growing multi-cultural and multi-generational church founded on the Bible.
LWC is looking for a man of God that can take our student ministry to the next level.
We currently have an AWANA program that runs on Wednesdays that had over 70 children registered. We have a Children’s Church program that has up to 20 children coming. We have a good relationship with the all three schools and are located one block away from the Middle School.
We are an SBC church and support the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Position Summary:
Living Water Church’s Associate Pastor of Students is responsible for the growth, care, and biblical education of our students.
They are to ensure professional, safe, and effective operation of our Student ministry program including recruitment and training of additional Student Ministry volunteers.
They will lead lessons of God’s Love, God’s Word, and
Fellowship with God’s people. It is our goal to lay a foundation that will keep Students not only interested in coming to church, but develop a lifelong understanding of what it means to be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.

Qualifications
· Born again believer in Jesus Christ and have a heart for God and teachable spirit.
· Must express a call to ministry.
· Must fit the biblical qualifications of an Elder (1 Tim. 3:1-7; Tit. 1:6-9).
· Must exhibit the life of a disciple that includes personal theological growth and development.
· Must agree to become a member of LWC.
· Relate well to Youth.
· Must pass a DOJ background check
· Ability to communicate well/clearly with church leaders/elders, students, families, and community
· Knowledge of technology and social media tools.
• Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop a biblically based student ministry for grades 6th-12th.
· Administer and coordinate the Student Ministry with a focus on biblical education and developing a biblical worldview.
· Develop and promote outreach with the goal of evangelism.
· Work with the Senior Pastor and the Parents to shape the spiritual growth and development of the Students at LWC.
· Promote, plan, and direct a weekday evening time of fellowship and bible study for 6-12th graders.
· Help oversee our AWANA and Children’s Church ministries
· Help the Pastor establish a yearly budget.
· Attend staff meetings.
