Duties and Responsibilities:

International Christian Concern (ICC) is a Washington DC area nonprofit (501 c3) devoted to assistance, advocacy, and awareness for the worldwide persecuted Christian Church. ICC serves persecuted Christians across the globe, including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Africa. ICC is hiring a Program Coordinator to support ICC’s mission to reach out to the persecuted Church worldwide. Responsibilities include administration, international ministry, assisting in international project management, and persuasive/creative writing.



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE


Administration and Programming:



Assist in the management and administration of international assistance projects.

Strong financial and budget management skills required to assist Regional Director and in-country staff as needed.

Monitor persecution in your region daily and write news posts, press releases, stories, and feature articles for publication.

Assist in the management and training of international staff.

Assist in the planning of and reporting on international travel.

Organize and maintain your regions administrate and project files.

Organize and maintain Regional Directors’ schedule and contact list.

Assist in the logistical planning of the annual Global Leadership Conference.

Assist in the recruitment and management of Regional Management Interns.

Develop and maintain relations with strategic partners, major donors, and foundations.

Travel to various regions of the world in support of ICC’s international work as needed.

Other duties as assigned.



Experience/Skills/Attributes:



A solid Christian witness and relationship with Jesus.

Previous experience in serving in a Christian missions or ministry environment, particularly in Southeast Asia, is preferred.

Experience with serving, working or living in the Southeast Asia region.

A minimum bachelor's degree is helpful but not required.

Commitment to advocating for and defending the cause of Christians persecuted for their faith.

Proficiency in written and spoken English essential for this role.

Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills.

Able to work effectively remotely and in small teams for most of the year in this work.
