The Big Picture
Highland Park Church (highlandpc.com) is a conservative evangelical non-denominational church seeking a full-time Pastor.
The Candidate
We are Bible-oriented, relational, and seeking a younger pastor who will help draw a younger crowd. The Sunday morning congregation averages about 70 people spread over two services, and has been steadily declining since 2010 from its previous base of 200. We are seeking a man with an M. Div from a solid seminary, but will consider a B.A. from a recognized Bible College if it includes at least three years pastoral experience. The current pastor has served nearly 4 decades and is in the process of retiring.
The Compensation
Package includes: Salary $40K if preferring to live in parsonage (utilities covered) with review in one year plus $4K retirement (403b), health sharing network cost reimbursement, plus $2K additional uncovered health expense allowance.; if preferring to buy home, then compensation will include an additional $7.8K Full package with housing equivalent to 53.8K plus health cost sharing.
