ROLE SUMMARY - Meet the Elder qualifications (1 Tim. 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-8). To lead and shepherd GBC for the glory of God and the good of the church, and as a result, the world. The Associate Pastor will be a vocational Elder. He will be a pastoral “generalist” for the mission and health of GBC, with emphasis on Discipleship and Leadership Development in a word-driven and gospel-centered local church. He should have demonstrated competency in equipping and managing people and teams for the purpose of: glorifying God by being disciples who make disciples of all
people through the transforming power of the gospel.
