First Baptist Church is seeking a full-time senior pastor to lead our church.

• Active membership is approximately 102.
• Average worship attendance is approximately 125.
• Portales is a college-based city, and church attendance increases during the school year.
• Serving Cannon Air Force Base
• Small group attendance on average is 158.
• Current programs include children, youth, college ministries, and Celebrate Recovery.
• Portales is a rural community, located of the east central side of New Mexico with a population of 12,132 (2020 census)
• The economy is mixed with agriculture (farm, ranching & dairy), Eastern New Mexico University and Canon Airforce Base (located between Clovis and Portales)
