The Minister of Students is a vital part of the mission to successfully launch students beyond their senior year of high school. We are seeking a full-time Minister of Students to prepare and equip our middle/high school students to live godly lives utilizing their God-given gifts and abilities. The minister will foster an environment that facilitates spiritual growth through the process of discipleship, built upon the foundation of God’s Word, toward students gaining a thorough understanding of God’s call for their lives.
The Minister of Students will plan, coordinate, direct, and evaluate the student ministry of the church:
● Plan and implement discipleship opportunities for students to grow in their knowledge and relationship with Christ;
● Communicate effectively with students, parents and the larger church body;
● Enlist, train and guide student ministry volunteers;
● Coordinate and administer activities in the Recreation Building; and
● Formulate and execute a student ministry plan that oversees goal setting and budgetary preparation.
To succeed in this position, you must love Jesus and people. Moreover, our expectation is that you have a passion for working with teens and tweens and have a heart for reaching the lost. We are looking for a man of impeccable character who demonstrates excellent collaboration and communication skills.
We prefer a graduate degree related to student ministry and three or more years of ministry experience, but we will follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in filling this position.
