Total Compensation for the position: $52,000
Note: The monies would be a part-time income in King County. Open to a part-time bi-vocational pastor or full-time pastor with supplemented income.

First Baptist Church Enumclaw, Washington is prayerfully seeking a full time or co-vocational Lead Pastor to shepherd our church.

Our church has been a part of the Enumclaw community for over 50 years. Enumclaw is small rural town in East King County, the largest populated county in Washington state. The city population demographic is mainly agriculture and professionals commuting to larger cities. It is short commute to the I-5 corridor as well as a short ride to Mt. Rainier National Park and the Cascade Mountains.

We are prayerfully seeking a man that is inspired to serve the Lord with all his heart, strength, soul and mind. His personal relationship with the Lord must take priority as well as a vital connection with prayer and the Bible. He will be expected to lead, along with the Deacons and church council, in order to seek God’s Will to enable the vision and direction of the church.

Requirements for this position:
1. Attended seminary with 1-5 years church-ministry experience.
2. Must demonstrate both preaching and leadership skills.
3. Must be able to counsel individuals with both personal and spiritual problems.
4. Must be proficient in sermon preparation including textual, narrative and personal elements. Also challenging the congregation.
5. Must be able to lead and support ministries in discipleship, evangelism and child/youth programs.
