Eastmont Baptist Church in East Wenatchee, WA is seeking an interim worship leader for approximately 3–6 months while our current worship leader is on medical leave. This role may be well suited for a seminary student with musical ability and a desire to serve the local church while gaining ministry experience.
The worship leader will collaborate with the Lead Pastor in planning weekly worship services and will provide musical and organizational leadership for the church’s volunteer worship team.
Responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with the Lead Pastor on song selection and service planning
• Leading the worship team rehearsal on Saturday evening
• Leading congregational worship on Sunday mornings
• Providing leadership and encouragement to the volunteer worship and technology teams
Our church is moving toward a blended worship style, drawing from both historic hymns and theologically rich contemporary songs.
