POSITION:
Full-time Lead Pastor @ Cornerstone Community Church Texas


SUMMARY:
Cornerstone Community Church, located at the crossroads of Georgetown and Leander, Texas, is prayerfully seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to join our ministry team. This man is not simply looking for a job, but rather, the opportunity to make a Kingdom impact by leading Cornerstone in the pursuit of our church vision and execution of our mission. This includes preaching, teaching, and discipling our church, preparing and empowering the members to reach the lost in our rapidly growing community in the Austin metro area.


QUALIFICATIONS:
A successful candidate will:

- Meet all biblical qualifications as laid out in scripture in Titus 1, 1 Timothy 3, and 1 Peter 5
- Understand and affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
- Be a man of God called to the office of pastor and to Cornerstone Community Church
- Exhibit the fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5
- Be an effective preacher and teacher of God's inerrant and infallible Word
- Have a heart to reach the lost
- Love God supremely, love people sacrificially, and disciple others to do the same
- Demonstrate his ability to lead his family, his staff, and his church well
- Demonstrate his ability to develop and grow others
- Graciously hold others accountable, yet also be accountable and teachable himself
- Communicate clearly, openly, and transparently in all settings
- Demonstrate his ability to reach young families
- Effectively delegate, knowing his own strengths and strengths of those around him, while also being responsible, dependable, influential, and flexible
- Neither be a micromanager nor a dictator, but a servant who can effectively lead people/teams
- Have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree
- Graduate from an accredited theological seminary preferred
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a pastoral position as an ordained pastor

He will serve effectively in a plural elder-led congregationalist church family that values biblical preaching, heartfelt worship and discipleship to reach a diverse and rapidly growing community at the crossroads of Georgetown, Leander, Cedar Park, and Round Rock.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years in a Pastoral role (5+ years preferred)


EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Graduate from an accredited theological seminary (Preferred)


SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Salary will be commensurate with educational level and experience.
