Job Title: Youth Pastor
Reports to: Senior Pastor
Requirements
• Faith in Jesus as Savior with evidence of a relationship with God.
• A passion and ability to teach the Word of God.
• Must meet the biblical qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:6-9.
• The ability to lovingly minister to individuals and families.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Recruit and train volunteers to serve in the Youth Ministry as character models and disciple-makers.
• Provide resources and training to parents as the primary disciple-makers in the students’ lives.
• Plan and lead regular Youth worship services.
• Provide biblical counseling to students and their parents when needed.
• Plan and administer regular Youth events such as outreach events, special Bible studies, and retreats as the need arises.
• Take students to church camp annually.
• Plan and administer fundraisers for any of the Youth Ministry’s financial needs that exceed the annual budget.
• Serve on the Children’s Ministry Team
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor
