Chinese Congregational Church is a Chinese American church with a history of about 133 years of ministry beginning in Downtown Los Angeles. We are an independent church not denominationally affiliated. The Church consists of parallel tracks of ministry for English and Cantonese-speaking congregations with the English and Chinese speaking pastors serving as Co Pastors to their respective language groups under a single Elder Board. The pastors are considered as the Bible teaching elders. A single philosophy of ministry for the church is determined by input from all the Elders. Currently we seek to be a "Healthy Church," as defined and described by Mark Dever in his book, Nine Marks of a Healthy Church.
