THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To help lead this next season of ministry, Catalyst Church is seeking a passionate and relational Youth Pastor who will build and lead a thriving student ministry for middle school and high school students. This leader will play a key role in discipling students, developing volunteer leaders, and creating environments where teenagers can grow in their relationship with Jesus and build authentic community.
The ideal candidate is a spiritually mature leader who loves students, communicates Scripture clearly, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. This person will bring energy, vision, and a heart for discipleship…helping students not just attend church, but truly follow Jesus in their everyday lives.
Key aspects of the role include:
• Teaching and communicating God’s Word in engaging and biblically grounded ways
• Building meaningful relationships with middle school and high school students
• Recruiting, equipping, and leading a team of volunteer leaders
• Creating engaging environments that foster spiritual growth and community
• Partnering with parents to support the spiritual development of their students
• Collaborating with church staff to align student ministry with the overall vision of Catalyst Church
This role is about more than programming, it’s about investing in the next generation and raising up disciples who will live out their faith in real and tangible ways. The next Youth Pastor will help shape a ministry culture where students are known, loved, and challenged to grow as followers of Jesus.
