III. General Responsibilities
• Participate in all worship services.
• Participate in all BBC ministry staff meetings as requested.
Actively seek opportunities to share the gospel.
Provide other services and fulfill other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
IV. Qualifications
The Student Pastor at Brownsville Baptist Church must be able to articulate a clear understanding of the gospel, must be motivated to evangelize the lost, and must demonstrate a consistent lifestyle of personal holiness and commitment to the total inherency of the scriptures as they pertain to cultural issues.
• The Student Pastor at Brownsville Baptist Church must be comfortable serving in a Southern Baptist Church and agree to serve knowing that BBC is pastor-led, deacon served, ministry team facilitated, and congregational approved.
• The Student Pastor at Brownsville Baptist Church must either have already obtained, or is currently in the process of completing, a theological degree from a Southern Baptist Seminary.
