Diploma in Global Engagement (Dp.G.E.)

God is at work among every nation, tribe, and language, and he calls ordinary believers to join him. The Diploma in Global Engagement prepares leaders to engage the world from a biblical worldview to accomplish the Great Commission.

This two-year, 48-hour program is designed for people called to ministry who bring rich life and career experience but lack an undergraduate degree. It equips and trains you for competent, biblically grounded ministry across cultures.

The program is built in three stages:

1. Biblical and theological core (27 hours): Old and New Testament, biblical hermeneutics, church history, and Christian theology. This grounds your ministry in a clear understanding of Scripture and the historic faith.
2. Ministry foundations (6 hours): a two-term practicum with a peer reflection group, which helps you grow in self-awareness and ministry practice.
3. Missiology and intercultural studies (15 hours): introduction to missions, intercultural communication, cultural apologetics, a theology of Christian mission seminar, and a short-term cross-cultural practicum that takes your learning beyond the classroom.

Along the way, you’ll learn to interpret and apply Scripture to modern life and to understand the historical and theological frameworks of the believers’ church tradition. You’ll also build practical skills and strategies for communicating and living the gospel in church, missional, and intercultural settings. You’ll develop advanced missions skills matched to your own calling.

The Diploma in Global Engagement is offered at the Ontario campus and online. Finishing on schedule may require some remote or online coursework.
