|Summary:||This position provides support in the timely and accurate distribution and dispatching of incoming, outgoing and department mail, as well as providing clerical support to the Director of IT.|

|Qualifications||To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative to the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience:A High School diploma or general education degree (GED). At least 18 years old; Must be able to read, speak and understand English to effectively communicate and to safely perform work. A valid CA driver’s license is required.
Language Skills: Ability to read, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos and write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers and fractions; Understand weights and American currency.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word software.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate a postage machine and meter.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, continuous walking, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to twist, bend, climb stairs, and, lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. It is a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
