Providence Baptist Church, Crockett Mills, TN is seeking a bi-vocational Pastor. The candidate’s Christian character and qualifications must match those found in 1 Timothy 3.1-7 and Titus 1.5-19. In addition, he must be an ordained Baptist minister with experience that may include pastoral internship, associate pastor or senior pastor positions. Formal training at an accredited Bible college and/or seminary is preferred but not required, provided the candidate can demonstrate sound doctrine. Providence Baptist Church affirms the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000. Providence is a small Baptist Church established in 1854. Providence is a multi-generational, mission minded church that is very active in community outreach. Our facility consists of a sanctuary with seating for approximately 120 with 8 classrooms and a nursery. We also have a pastors’ office and a fellowship hall which seats approximately 100. Our site includes 2 large cemeteries and a modern children's playground. We are blessed with an offsite 3 bedroom, 2 bath newly remodeled parsonage.
