Position Overview: The Church and Community Engagement Manager plays a crucial role in advancing the mission of Future Generation International Missions Inc by cultivating and nurturing relationships with churches, faith-based organizations, and community groups. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between our organization and external partners, with a focus on securing financial support, fostering collaboration, and raising awareness about our work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Building:
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with churches, faith-based organizations, and community groups to secure partnerships and financial support.
• Develop and implement strategies to engage new churches and organizations while strengthening existing partnerships.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external partners, responding to inquiries and providing support as needed.
2. Communication and Outreach:
• Effectively communicate the mission, vision, and impact of Future Generation International Missions Inc to diverse audiences.
• Develop and deliver presentations, speeches, and materials to engage churches, small groups, and other stakeholders.
• Utilize various communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and website content, to raise awareness and promote engagement.
3. Strategic Planning and Implementation:
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement a strategic plan for church and community engagement.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration, partnership, and funding within the community and develop corresponding initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies, making adjustments as needed to achieve goals.
4. Event Coordination:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including church presentations, fundraising drives, and community outreach activities.
• Coordinate logistics, recruit volunteers, and oversee event marketing and promotion efforts.
• Ensure that events align with the organization's mission and objectives and contribute to overall engagement goals.
5. Administration and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of church engagements, partnership agreements, and financial contributions.
• Prepare regular reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting progress, achievements, and challenges.
• Manage administrative tasks related to church and community engagement, including scheduling meetings, processing donations, and tracking expenses.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, communications, religious studies) or equivalent experience. Preferred but not required.
• Strong personal faith and a deep commitment to the mission and values of Future Generation International Missions Inc.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and compellingly.
• Proven experience in relationship building, fundraising, or community engagement, preferably within a nonprofit or religious organization.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with donor management software or CRM systems is preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Compensation: $15 per hour (10-15 hours per week), paid monthly, with mileage reimbursement for travel.
