Associate Pastor

Salary/Range: $41,000 - $50,000 annual for full-time (40 hours weekly) depending on experience

About Our Church: We are Cross Life Community Church (CLCC), a predominantly Korean-American church, with nearly 150 members and located in Federal Way, Washington. CLCC is a closely-knit community of believers in all life stages, drawing those in surrounding areas to come together to worship Jesus, make disciples, and to serve our community with His love. Denominationally, our church belongs to the Southern Baptist Convention but we welcome anyone seeking to know and serve our God. We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Pastor whose primary role will be to lead and minister to youth and college students but also to assist in carrying out the vision CLCC.



Responsibilities:

1. Lead our youth and college groups to know, love and serve Jesus.

2. Assist the lead pastor to fulfill the vision and mission of Cross Life Community Church.

3. Communicate Biblical truth to our youth group weekly.

4. Provide pastoral care in times of need and disciple them to become resilient believers.

5. Establish and oversee an effective youth and college leadership structure.

6. Work with church leadership and parents for planning retreats, outreach activities, and mission trips.

7. Attend and contribute to church staff meetings.



Desired Qualities:

1. Deep love for God and desire to see His plans realized in the current generation of young believers.

2. Graduate of a Bible college, or working towards or having obtained a degree in Master of Divinity (from an Association of Theological Schools, ATS, accredited seminary).

3. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
