Financial Transparency

Gateway Seminary of the Southern Baptist Seminary is grateful for the investment made by Southern Baptists in the seminary and its students through generous contributions to the Cooperative Program.

Gateway Seminary is primarily accountable to the Board of Trustees, who are elected by Southern Baptists to oversee the seminary’s governance. The Board of Trustees undergoes orientation and training to understand the seminary’s mission, financial condition, and their fiduciary responsibilities in light of the ministry assignments from the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). They have full access to any information they wish to see or inquire about beyond what is discussed at board meetings.

While the Board of Trustees has oversight and responsibility, Gateway Seminary also believes that transparency and accountability are essential. A significant amount of information is available in existing resources such as the Annual Ministry Reports, the Annual Meeting Book of Reports, the SBC Annual, and our own publications.

To make this information more accessible, Gateway Seminary seeks to consolidate it for easier understanding and navigation. Thank you, Southern Baptists, for your investment in Gateway Seminary as we strive to shape leaders who expand God's kingdom around the world.
